According to Reuters, eBay CEO John Donahoe was one of "Twenty-five of the 100 highest paid U.S. CEOs earned more last year than their companies paid in federal income tax."
Specifically:
"eBay whose CEO John Donahoe made $12.4 million, but which reported a $131 million refund on its 2010 current U.S. taxes."
While many John Donahoe fans will "cheer" this article, we note the article and study are flawed. In the case of eBay INC, what is left out are 2010 taxes paid.
Consider this; most of our U.S. readers received 2010 tax refunds. But it's a refund of excess taxes paid.
