It took a local TV station's consumer reporter to get this powerseller with a 99.3% positive feedback ranking reinstated.
The reason for the NARU? One recent negative feedback supposedly put this powerseller in the bottom 1% of sellers

Okay, just without looking at the news footage, I have a comment to make.
A Power Seller is someone who sells at least $1,000.00 a month. How could one negative put a Power Seller in the bottom 1%. In order for someone who is a Power Seller to hit the bottom 1% they had to get a whole slew of negatives, or just honestly been caught in a glitch. It just makes absolutely no sense.
Just my input.

After viewing the news report, and knowing what I have witnessed in the past, I believe I know exactly what occurred.
Buyers are given way too much authority on ebay. Which is the reason a friend of mine had an experience that made them leave Ebay, even though they were a Platinum Power Seller. They were dealing with a Non-paying-bidder who decided to buy from another Seller, who had the same product at a cheaper price, which was proven with email correspondences, that were provided to Ebay Customer Service/Account Representative. They requested that the negative that the Bidder left be expunged (removed) because there was no basis for it, and that the Buyer went against the TOS. Ebay refused.
By the way, that same Seller had fought many an issue in regards to the rights to sell certain items, which they had won several times, but not without a couple of stern warnings (a privilege they only provided to Power Sellers, at the time -- They provide less service now than they used to.) It appears that anyone can claim that someone does not have the right to sell a certain item, and that people can make claims that a product, even one with lots of embelishment, such as those jeans she was selling, the original maker of the jeans did not provide the permission to sell their jeans. Ebay is very afraid of people counterfeiting items, and will pull auctions if it is even a slight possibility.
It is my best guess that Ebay made no comment because they were indeed afraid, because the mass of product she was moving, that they would be held liable for such a counterfeiting claim. Ludacris? Yes. Welcome to Ebay.
