Post #94:
"I've seen and done all the tricks like posting with a pink titlebar"
newlistings
Continuation of the posts from "A pink may not be a pink."
Background:
Vladuz Was Never Here? - A pink may not be a pink.
http://eventhorizon1984.typepad.com/event_horizon_1984_blog/2007/06/from_ebay_forum_4.html
Had not planned on continuing this particular topic.
But Vladuz sightings and news continues.
The statement at the top invokes the image of a cowboy saying 'dance' while unloading their weapon at their own feet.
Nothing like watching a musical.
In case you're wondering, the responding individuals are decent people. But like the majority of posters, they have a low tolerance to trolling.
Or illegal acts:
"I've seen and done all the tricks like posting with a pink titlebar and everything I've said on this thread can be backed up." newlistings
Sounds like a Vladuz-copycat doesn't it? And doesn't it strike you, the reader, that this named individual is confessing to using eBay in an unauthorized and illegal fashion??
Okay, the interrogation was very good.
Believe eBay is required to report illegal intrusions to law enforcement.
eBay operates in multiple States. Federal jurisdiction, Federal criminal prosecution; Felony.
Applicable Statute 18 U.S.C. § 1030
UNITED STATES CODE ANNOTATED
TITLE 18. CRIMES AND CRIMINAL PROCEDURE

(6) knowingly and with intent to defraud traffics (as defined in section 1029) in any password or similar information through which a computer may be accessed without authorization, if--
(A) such trafficking affects interstate or foreign commerce
shall be punished as provided in subsection (c) of this section.
(2)(A) except as provided in subparagraph (B), a fine under this title or imprisonment for not more than one year, or both, in the case of an offense under subsection (a)(2), (a)(3), (a)(5)(A)(iii), or (a)(6) of this sectio

(4)(A) a fine under this title, imprisonment for not more than 10 years, or both
(C) a fine under this title, imprisonment for not more than 20 years, or both
And there's the Patriot Act. Might be Title II and sections 814 and 815?

Guantanamo Bay comes to mind.
DANCE! Bang, bang. Ouch, ouch.

A pink may not be a pink.

The fact that eBay admitted someone had access to eBay employee accounts is astounding!
Where does it say that? he said "access to information OBTAINED BY EMAILS."
Umm do you ever read before typing up responses? On the original post, "He's very good," Durzy said of Vladuz, "and apparently brazen." Durzy said to the best of eBay's knowledge, Vladuz has only had access to a handful of customer service representative accounts..
Can some of you old timers clue this new guy in ?
My userid is a little bit older than yours. I think you're the new guy here.
"hacking" into the powerseller boards by non PS's has been done many times in the past, as well as posting with a pink bar in many forms.
Umm, didn't I just say that people have been posting on the PS boards that weren't PSers from the previous post like SquareTrade employees? I thought posting my response to your silly comments the second time would have allowed it to set it in.
It's no wonder you are not allowed to manage CRM centers for Apple and BellSouth Internet anymore.
Never said I wasn't allowed. But if you've ever managed international sites before, you'll quickly find after a few years traveling on planes will get tiresome.
No one has come up with any shred of proof yet
Do you really think eBay T&S would share info with you?
Calling me insane does not prove your point. taking the word "access" out of context does not prove "access to eBay employee accounts"
It's called reading the news article. eBay has admitted someone outside their company accessed their CSR accounts. That is NOT good. That's a security problem.
no matter how many times you post your "point" or make the font bold does not offer real proof.
Gee, the fact that eBay says their CSR accounts have been accessed by someone else aside from an eBay employee, isn't that proof enough?
who's the broken record here?
eBay: Our CSR accounts got accessed without authorization.
newslistings: No it didn't. Prove it to me.
????

who said I was PS?
Umm...eBay says you're a PowerSeller. And if you're able to post on this board, I'd say you're either still an active one or you are on your last leg.

where does it say "ebay" says this ? only in your posts.
post like SquareTrade employees
These are people that are allowed access.

E-MAIL accounts.
My userid is a little bit older than yours.
yeah, but how long have YOU had access to the board?
well, you traded in your rubber knife for a gun, but you're shooting with blanks.

Durzy said to the best of eBay's knowledge, Vladuz has only had access to a handful of customer service representative accounts. He said there is no evidence that Vladuz has ever had access to customer databases.
These are people that are allowed access.
Stop bragging about being able to post on the PowerSeller board. You have been a PowerSeller and despite the fact that you haven't posted any new items, it doesn't mean that you lost your PowerSeller status or permissions on the board. There's a timed average when you gain and lose your PS permissions. Additionally, you can turn off your PS icon at any time.

E-MAIL accounts.
Any unauthorized access is a security intrusion. Come on now billy boy, you're proving my point he accessed CSR accounts (email or otherwise).
yeah, but how long have YOU had access to the board?
Does that matter to the discussion that someone accessed CSR accounts?
well, you traded in your rubber knife for a gun, but you're shooting with blanks.

You're about as clueless as the basketcase, you think you know who I am but you can't even grasp the idea that if someone has a MSN account doesn't mean their name is Microsoft.
You don't even know if I'm a boy or a girl.
There's a timed average when you gain and lose your PS permissions.
before you try and show how much you know, ask a more mature PS if the PS board that is hosted by liveworld (A different server than what ebay hosts their employees on), how many times the PS board has been hacked into by a NON PS.

? Don't be defensive, around here in Tennessee, that's a common phrase.

That comment was towards your rhetorical question, suggesting you weren't a PowerSeller posting on this board. Hahaha. And you were caught. Don't get all angry.
newlistings (1158 ) Feb-25-07 12:13 PST 89
you're grasping at straws now and twisting the issue. I'm not angry, but I am bored. come up with something exciting to talk about. Yes, you might think I'm on my way out but my ebay business has been bought and sold to more people, more times than your colorado wastelands, you will see it listed here again, and again, you will not have a clue as to who the "anonymous fellow" is.
newlistings (1158 ) Feb-25-07 12:15 PST 90
and the term in tennessee is "billy bob" not "billy boy" so no backpedaling.
la** Feb-25-07 12:41 PST 91
oh yeah.
and the term in tennessee is "billy bob" not "billy boy" so no backpedaling.
Actually no, here in Lebanon, TN we say billy boy. Not billy bob.
Yes, you might think I'm on my way out but my ebay business has been bought and sold to more people, more times than your colorado wastelands,
Ok...
you will not have a clue as to who the "anonymous fellow" is.
Ok...
Now that we got it straight that you were wrong about unauthorized access to eBay staff accounts (email or otherwise), and that you're actually a PowerSeller proud of the fact that you can still post on this board without having listed items in the past couple of months... I think the thread can end here. :)
newlistings (1158 ) Feb-25-07 12:47 PST 92
yet to be seen
I think the thread can end here
first intelligent post you've made.
bye

You don't even know if I'm a boy or a girl.
Are you sure yourself? Aren't trolls unisexual?
newlistings (1158 ) Feb-25-07 14:02 PST 94
None of you can come up with any proof to back up your stories, so now you resort to name calling?
Why don't you guys spend some time learning to read and comprehend what you read instead of making your own interpretations?
I never said I was hacking the board right now. I said I knew how to do it. And so do my partners.
Anyone that's been on the board longer than 5 years have seen us do it, and can verify it.
You nor the basket or the seed lady don't know who I am now or who I was a year ago, or even 5 years ago because selling an ebay business is as easy as changing an email address and contact info.
I've seen and done all the tricks like posting with a pink titlebar and everything I've said on this thread can be backed up.
Why don't at least one of you actually prove that the romanian or anyone else hacked into ebay's database
instead of trying to call me names.Until then, I agree that the thread should've ended.
ba** Feb-25-07 14:10 PST 95
And so do my partners.
You mean of the marital variety?
